Currently, a popular filler (first observed to be popularized by ABC news c.2000) in spoken media.

Often used at the end of sentences by paid "news readers" to fill airtime, while adding no value whatsoever.
ANY sentence with this ending can be said without it and the meaning remains unchanged.
Correct - "The house and barn were destroyed"
Incorrect - "The house was destroyed, and the barn was destroyed as well ... over to you, Kathy"

Words you can keep
The most annoying and irrelevant phrase that people feel the need to say all the time. It often doesn't make any sense but they say it to make themselves seem smarter than they really are, as well.
Person1: Did you see that fight at school?!

Person2: Oh darn, I missed it as well.

Person1: Ummm. ok... *walks away*

as well then too

A phrase used by people who's linguistic skills are not up to par to shorten a sentence and attempt to sound smarter than they actually are. The phrase can also be used by habitual users who try and fill sentences for lack of a better phrase.
The cat climbed the wall and the dog ran up the street as well then too.

Might as well, can't dance, to wet to plow, fish ain't biting.

An old southern saying. A term of acknowledgement or boredom.
Will you go to the store and get some milk? Might as well, can't dance, to wet to plow, fish ain't biting.

might as well

There is no reason you should not do something.
Me es igual si lo hago. Por eso, pienso hacerlo.
No me costarĂa nada hacerlo. Por eso, pienso hacerlo.
Since I have to wait, I might as well sit down and relax.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
