Applysh 

A word used to describe a product, brand, or concept that is so strongly associated with its category that it defines it. Like Apple stands to smartphones, GAN stands to high-end Rubik’s cubes, or Windows stands to operating systems. An applysh is a dominant or pioneering brand that sets the standard for everything else in its field.

Apple is the applysh of the smartphone market
Even though Rubik's is the original, GAN is the applysh of rubik's cubes.
