A person who likes to consensually experience pain or be restrained, but does not correlate either with sex.

Person A: Isn’t your girlfriend a major masochist?

Person B: Actually, she doesn’t like pain to be mixed with lovemaking. She’s an angorist.

A person who enjoys pain, but not in a sexual way. Similar to masochism(but not sexual).
