AMANDERING

someone aimlessly pottering around past bedtime, making unnecessary noise and not getting anything useful done in the process. often an attempt to make a snack and getting sidetracked thinking they can clean up a little while they are at it. before they know it, 90 minutes has past and they still haven't made a snack or tidied up.

John's been waiting for his wife to come to bed for 90 minutes, I bet she's in the kitchen Amandering again. He may as well go to sleep before the sun comes up and she's still not finished mucking around.
