A geographic region located directly on the Ontario-New York border.in the picturesque St. Lawrence Valley.

In the steamship era, the 1000 Islands was a playground for New York City's most wealthy and famous, as it was possible to arrive by rail in a single day. Now that the jet set have aircraft, they've gone further afield and the world is their oyster.
