A fraternity that no one really cares about and was founded using the models of other fraternities far later than any of the real fraternities. They pride themselves on taking large numbers of clones rather than on taking quality members. Requirements for admission vary from being willing to suck the President's balls to being willing to lick the President's balls.

A sorority for women that is usually a bunch of stuck up women. They tend to think they are better than everyone else and say things about their pledges such as "You aren't a Theta.....yet", used in reference to how much a pledge changes before and after initiation. After initiation they will start to look down their nose at you and become all around rude.
True incident: the Kappa Alpha Theta's at Northwestern University once called out one of their sisters who had recently started dating a black man by putting on a sign on her door that said "TNT: That's not Theta" with a stick of dynamite on it.

Alpha Rho Chi (ΑΡΧ) is a professional co-educational college fraternity for students studying architecture and related professions. The fraternity's name is derived from the first three letters of the Greek word for architecture, αρχιτεκτονική.
APX was founded on April 11, 1914, with the joining of Sigma Upsilon at the University of Michigan and the Arcus Society at the University of Illinois to form a national fraternity for Architecture and the allied arts.
Sigma Upsilon was founded four years prior by eight architecture students at Michigan, with the intent of eventually forming a national architecture fraternity, and had drafted their constitution and laws to reflect that. Two years after they were founded in 1912 they were recognized by their school as a fraternity and started negotiation with other schools to open up more chapters.
