A derivative form for Battletoads, from the NES. It is a joke for when people ask,"what game/is this from?", which in reply, "Battletoads/Fighting Amphibians/Combat Frogs/etc."

The word's creation came from GaiaOnline, which people has a fondness for games, and always asking questions about obscure games. If not known, it's Battletoads/Fighting Amphibians/Combat Frogs.

The word has gotten popular that the GaiaOnline users has created a website called http://www.fightingamphibians.com

military slang for a contact or "shoot out" between friendly forces and the enemy. Fire fights can last seconds or hours depending on the situation. British forces are renouned to have the best skills and tactics to winning a fire fight, earning major respect in the international community.

The fire fight between British forces and the Taliban went on for hours in Helmand province.

almost fight

A fight that is about to happen when it is broken up by either an authoritative figure or one of the combatants. Usually the latter happens because one of the fighters is a pussy, and won't fight after challenging, even with all the backup he can bring. This sort of person may also go around acting gangster but talking his way out of a fight if he gets one.

The biggest thing to happen at Lynbrook was an almost fight, where a white boy from Tino came to challenge a person from Lynbrook. The Tino kid brought thirty more white boys to back him up, while the Lynbrook guy brought only ten, but the Tino guys pussyd out and ran back to their cars and drove away.

Frequency Fight

It's what you get when you're listening to a station on a certain frequency, and you get two radio stations who both use that frequency at the same time. One signal is stronger than the other, then it changes so the other is stronger. This just keeps on happening and is called a 'frequency fight'.

"Dude, frequency fight imminent."
"Dude, change the station will you?"
