calculer / cala

French word / Mot français

"Calculer" means "to calculate" in english and "cala" is a drift from "calculer".
"To calculate (calculer/cala) someone/something" means to give attention, or to pay attention to someone or something. It's an expression used by a lot of people, mostly the youngs, it's a slang.
It's more used in the negative way, than in the positive, we will see often this, followed with a "pas (not)".
