Great cars but do to there big cc engines led them to less demand and not being sold worldwide hence not many people in the world knowing many of them.
Do to the cost of petrol and compulsory insurance in many countries being high Muscle type cars where in practical,leaving the door open to allow other cars to be made popular in the world mainly Japanese version even tuned down many where open to tuning there engines to high bhp for little cost on some cars.
Due to this many Americans feel angry that there cars are less popular and talk about how there old cars are better although again,this isnt always the case due to power being released same as and more BHP from really small cc Japanese engines.
Knowing that Japanese engines have been detuned this is there defence and pretend they dont know so they can say there BHP is more overall.And often compare against low cc imports only.
Overall great cars and offer a lot of power and offer great looks, let down by owners and fans making such a stance with them,and fact not opinion suffer once leave a straight line.

Muscle car great looks great power.

My muscle can beat your skyline if still running detuned which is fair for me.

what one experiences when looking for a parking space in a crowded lot, seeing an empty spot in the distance, only to find it filled by a tiny car, ie: Mini cooper, VW Beetle, Yugo, or the like.

A couple driving around for five minutes in a parking lot...

Girlfriend (points finger): Oh! there's one!

Boyfriend: Score!

Girlfriend: Aww damnit, it looked like an open spot.

Muscle car 

A style of car that became popular in the US, which, while it makes a pretty good growl, manages to produce very little power, despite having 6+ litres of displacement. While they were very quick (and actually rather good looking and stylish in their own way) in the 60s and 70s, modern muscle cars are now left standing by Euro and Japanese cars (such as the supra, skyline, and BMW 3,5,6 series) of much smaller displacement, with more BHP and more BHP/Litre which also offer better fuel economy, better styling, and aerodynamics than their fat, sluggish, ugly, thirsty american counterparts.

The 69 Chevelle SS, 69 mustang, and C2 Corvette stingray are examples of great classic muscle cars, all very cool.

The 2008 Mustang managed to achieve a shocking 210 bhp from a 4.0l engine, America should be ashamed to claim that it is a performance vehicle, the Japanese get nearly 50% more than that from an engine half the size.
