On February 24, 1980, 9 year old Luke affronted his brother,10 year old Linus,by saying,"Well,it looks like YOU have a RECTANGLE head!" thus causing Linus to lose his pompom snowhat and end up dejected and barehead,with a cold head,and Linus' hair a fright.

AFFAN

Affan means "chaste", "modest", "virtuous", "pious".
They are the best people out there. They are funny, nice, cute as hell, handsome, lovely. If you have an Affan in your life, keep him. They are rare to find.
They are best in pick up lines and double meaning jokes. If you have them as a friend, trust me, you will never get bored. They are smooth like butter and will make you blush easily. They seem tough, but are shy in reality. They give positive vibes so anyone can get comfortable around them.
They really love games, love dancing in the rain, love cheesy acts. They can be a baby and a daddy. They can get soft easily. They are really photogenic and have a really nice and beautiful smile.
They love adventures. They can be very stubborn and hot tempered. They like to keep their emotions to themselves and will rarely express themselves, so if they do with you, consider yourself lucky. They're the most awesome people one can meet.

They're attractive as hell. They are really caring and will make you feel like a princess.

They're best at what interests them. Their laugh is the most precious thing. Affans are beautiful inside and out. They will always be there for you and expect the same.

They do special things without even announcing and when they are done, only then they tell about it.
They are fun, sexy, hot, loving, highly gifted, genius, creative, intelligent, caring and most importantly respect you and your choices.

affirmitive action

This term refers to the practice of hiring minority races over white races, even if the white applicant is more qualified. The idea behind this is that minorities (mainly those of African descent) were oppressed and this is one way for the government to make ammends. Obviously the repercussions are serious for example hiring a less qualified applicant in the medical field. Also this idea itself could be considered racist, what is more derogatory than saying that minorities need be hired first regardless of merits as if they do not have merits!!! Many people haved sued for reverse discrimination saying that the most qualified applicant no matter what should have the job in question. Also because this is a racial issue most people tend to overlook the fact this is another way for the government to exercise control over businesses in the private sector.

I have a PhD (doctorate) in Physcis and applied for a teaching position at a local high school, but because of affirmitive action a person with only a Bachelors degree was hired.
