Esteem of Self Retardedness

When one ignores another’s wonderful performance in sport, gaming, etc. and focuses on there own personal performance even if they performed worse or better.

Person 1: (plays really good in basketball) person 2: you played pretty good i guess, but did you see that one shot i hit?? person 1: wow you are really showing an example of esteem of self retardedness.
