love knife

To stab someone who you love. Used mostly to describe crazed fans of musicians. They love the band so much, they want to 'love knife' them and stab them. Coined by Kyle Gass from the band "Tenacious D" in their late 1990's HBO comedy shorts.

(Kyle and Jack are stopped by Lee, their biggest fan, outside the club they just performed at. After asking for their home address, the two of them walk away from him with ominous music playing)

Jack Black (JB): "This dude is total stalk-a-razzi..."
Kyle Gass (KG): "He's full on love knife material"
JB: "Love knife?"
KG: "Yeah, you know .. when they get close .. a little TOO close .. 'oh, I love you! I love you! I love you!' .. then *STAB**STAB**STAB** .. ha, and you're covered in blood .. but they think they did a good thing!"
JB: "Creepy man!"

Knowedgeability

Knowedgeability is a measurement which is often used by sociologists and psychoanalyists to determine, on scale of 1-100, the degree to which any given person can be known. Factors that play into a person's knowedgeability include: personality disorders, intellect, predelectation to small talk, physical appearance, self-image, and various other factors which may not be characteristics of the object, but of the subject, which do not explicitly play into the knowedgeability of the object.

Example: Person A is the subject and Person B is the object. Person A has a characteristic which may increase or decrease the knowedgeability of Person B, such as blindness or volume, which may eliminate or alter factors of Person B that play into Person B's knowedgeability. A situation may be as follows: Travis is very handsome, (he has a characteristic which strongly effects his knowedgeability) and Jen is blind. Jen's blindness eliminates Travis' physical appearance from the list of factors which effect his knowedgeability. In this case, Travis' knowedgeability was decreased by Jen's blindness.

Ralph: "Man, I went to the Snug last night and ordered way too many knife helmets."

Chris: "How you feeling?"

Ralph: "Like I wore a knife helmet."

knifey-spooney

A game in which two or more players compare knives; the player with the largest knife is the winner. However, any player may choose to use a spoon instead of a knife. Any spoon beats any knife, but a player with a spoon is disqualified if another player recognizes and announces his or her use of a spoon.

"That's not a knife. THIS is a knife!"

"That's not a knife, that's a spoon."

"Ah, I see you've played Knifey-Spooney before!"
