A pathetic amount of money that has little to no use.

I checked under the couch cushions for enough money to buy a popsicle but I only found a stimulus check.

When you've lost attraction and feelings to your SO, but you don't bother to work it out because you know the relationship wouldn't have lasted anyways. So you just end up waiting around in the relationship until you finally find the most convenient time to break up, whether that be because of working or housing situation, etc.

Friend: You don't seen affected by your breakup
Friend 2: Yea, I was done checked out that relationship months before I broke up with him/her

Friend: Hey, did you get to enjoy the hotel pool on your last day?
Friend 2: Nah, didn't bother, I was done checked out before the pool even opened

Where one stabs another with a sharp object (shank). Attacks often centered around obliques (lower front and back sides). Called this because supposedly people watching out for this type of attack would duct tape phonebooks around their abdomen.

1. An ambiguously meaningless saying that has or implies no negative connotation. Merely an expression of one's own frustration in a positive, healthy, constructive manner.

2. Is equivalent to saying: Friends, I am frustrated right now, but I know I must keep my head up, and you should too, because that is what is best for the world.
