Anime

Anime is originated from Japan. Its art is amazing and the detial that is put into anime is just class. Anime is japanese drawings that are drawn in a very detailed way or anime is used in paricular Television shows like Dragonball Z, Yu Gi Oh Cardcaptors and Gundam Wing. There is also Manga which is anime from japan put into comic books like Shonen Jump. Anime is very detailed and is realistic or unrealistic it does not really matter in some ways as anime is just original.

anime and manga to some people think that it is for children and when someone see's a picture of anime the first thing that they say is (Oh is that Pokemon) I tell you something if one more person say's that i am just going to say no it is not bloody pokemon it is anime, and ANIME IS NOT JUST FOR CHILDREN.

Word that came from japanimation which was a style of animation that originated in japan but soon americans started using the style and to compensate, anime was used to substitute for the name of the style.

Usually containing Large eyes,pointy noses, exaggerated expressions, and small mouths or more detailed characters and backgrounds

Animes range from childish to mature to even "x" rated shows and have shows that contains just about every category: action, comedy, mystery, horror, romance, etc.

Most animes contain perverted old men used for comical sense i.e. DragonBall, Naruto, Chrno Crusade

The better animes usually contain large complex plots with unexpected twists, character development, and highly detailed drawings.

Just because you dont like something doesnt mean you have the right to flame it; thats like saying its okay for racists to be racists which obviously isnt okay

Inuyasha, Gundam, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, Case Closed/Detective Conan, and Read or Die are examples of japanese anime

Samurai Jack and Ninja Turtles would count as american anime

anime addict

a person who is addicted to anime-- and socially awkward or strange.
if a guy: they only study and watch anime
girls: freaks who have no social lives
white: they are extremely strange for having an addiction for japanese cartoons.

- includes porn= cartoons having sex with each other, which makes these pariahs and socially awkward people very horny(making t hem come back for more) This is also a substitution for real sex because they cannot get some (part of the reason being that they watch anime)

That girl in colorguard is an anime addict.

I don't want to go to the dance or hang out with others. I think I'll go home and watch anime, because I'm an anime addict.

That anime addict watches Naruto instead of Gossip Girl.

Anime

The Japanese style of animation, first started in the the 60's. Since then, many many anime series have been started, and the style has evolved to be something completely unique. Even between the anime artists, there is an definite difference in the animation styles. It covers the same range of genres as live television or movies for the rest of the world, except being animated, it can be a lot more creative and artistic. It is not uncommon to see Anime movies for older audiences in film festivals. It is inaccurate to confuse it with traditional cartoons (Warner Brothers, HBA, Disney). Toonami (American Animation Network) is aimed at a young audience, and does not represent the entire anime culture, instead the ones which are believed to be most popular for those around the teen age - or most compatible with merchandising.

While it may not be for everyone, those who do not like it should really indulge further, or simply refrain from speaking of which they do not properly know.

Anime. Debatably better than any other animation style. Whether you chose to believe it is up to you.
