Boris

The often overlooked pinnacle of awesome. He is an enigma, nobody knows what he's thinking nor feeling at the moment, yet this is what makes him appealing to EVERYONE. Handsome, intelligent, friendly, and refined, it is hard to find a single word that can encapsulate the greatness he exudes. To be a Boris is to be the ultimate underdog; everybody seems to underestimate and even forget about him, but he never fails to blow minds whenever it's his time to shine.

Carrie: Is that Boris? He's so cool!
Bo: Are you serious?! "cool" is just not cool enough for Boris.
Carrie: So what word's cool enough for him?
Bo: Boris. Just Boris.

When odds are against you, you're definitely a boris. it also means you'll WIN.

an alternate name for the state of Oregon, due to its gloomy, stark, and utterly boring nature. It's pronunciation does not only provide rhyme to this U.S. state's name, but shows truth to what it has to offer as far as entertaining.

Boris the spider

Great song that was originally made by "The Who" bassist, John Entwistle for a children's album. It later became a concert staple for them due to it's success. It is one of the first tracks to utilize the "death growl" of modern metal.

When The Who played Boris The Spider, the crowd went insane and tried to jump on stage.

Borg

An immensely powerful civilization fo enhanced humanoids from the Delta Quadrant of the galaxy. The Borg implant themselves with cybernetic devices, giving them great technological and combat capabilities. Different Borg are equipped with different hardware for specific tasks. Each Borg is tied into a sophiticated subspace communications network, forming hte Borg Collective, a shared consciousness in which the idea of the individual was nearly a meaningless concept. The Borg exhibit a high degree of intelligence and adaptability in their tactics. most means of defense or offense against them were foudn to work only once, almost immediatly after which the Borg developed a countermeasure. The Borg operated by conquering entire worlds, assimilating the civilizations and technology theron. Individual members of assimilated races were implanted with sophisticated cybernetic implants, permitting each individual to perform a specific task as required by the collective. Thousands of worlds across the galaxy were conquered in this fashion.

The first known contact between the Borg and the Federation was in 2365, when Q transported the Enterprise-D out of Federation space into the flight path of a Borg vessel heading toward the Alpha Quadrant.

"We are the Borg. Lower your shields. Your biological and technological distinctivness will be added to our own. Resistance if futile!"
