Women on reality shows like The Bachelor who are more into becoming known from being on tv than the actual object of the show.

Whore's Glory

Essentially bragging rights within any social circle that a female gets when she successfully has an intimate encounter with a much sought-after and desired male
Since all the girls had a crush on Mike, Brittany got the whore's glory when she finally hooked up with him.

Glory Whore

1. One who never lets it be forgotten who did all the work to get something done.

2. Someone so starved for attention they will go as far as stealing all the credit only having done some or none of the work.
1. Jan: "We put the baby's toy together today"
Beth: (clearing her throat) "Uh...we?"
Jan: "Sorry...your sister put it together"
Pappy D: "Glory Whore!"

2. Pappy D coined this phrase, but I am submitting it because I am a total Glory Whore!

social "just us" glory whore

A person who only views social issues from their side and always tries to get all the attention for themselves and not the issue.
Ceci would not shut up about how the social injustice of racism negatively impacted her commute to work and how she has worked to make things better for everyone. She was viewed as a social "just us" glory whore by those she claimed to defend but refused to give a ride to on her way to work - she wouldn't let them in her car.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
