VOSTFR

Stands for "Version Originale Sous-Titrée en FRançais" which means "original version (i.e. not dubbed) with French subtitles".
Often added to video file names.

Sometimes you can also see "VOSTFrench", probably to make it clearer for non-Frenchmen.
Just "VOST" can also be used if it's clear that they're French subtitles (and not for example English subtitles which would be "VOSTA": "Version Originale Sous-Titrée en Anglais").

In French movie theaters usually only "VO" (original version) is written to say that the movie isn't dubbed, since it's obvious that there are French subtitles. This is opposed to movies in "VF" ("version française", French version) which are dubbed.

vosting

When you are on a virtual platform, let say a meeting or a conference, and someone enters your space to chat with you, or to see your booth, and you reach out to them, and they ghost you virtually= Vosting.
When you go to conferences now, they used to be live events, however, they are almost all virtual events. People enter virtually into your virtual exhibit hall, and your virtual booth to chat or talk with you. A lot of times, they enter, and you are forced to say "hi, how are you, what can I do for you today, let me tell you about our service or product", and then they just sit there, virtually, and eventually they disappear. Virtually ghosting you. Vosting.

Vasty

Beautiful one, beloved one, excellent woman, best of women.

Different versions of the name include: Vashti, Vasti and Vashty

Queen Vasty (Hebrew: ושתי, Persian: وَ شتی ) is the wife of King Ahasuerus in the Book of Esther, a book included in the Bible. She is banished for her refusal to appear at the king's banquet to come wearing her royal crown to display her "beauty" for the king and his guests. It is implied that she was being asked to appear naked. She is viewed as an independent-minded heroine and a virtuous woman.

Persian tradition regards Vasty as a distinct historical figure. She is also regarded as one of the first feminists.
Early feminists, such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Harriet Beecher Stowe, admired Vasty's principle and courage.
Harriet Beecher Stowe called Vasty's disobedience the "first stand for woman's rights."

Captain Vostrikov

Hero of the Soviet Union!

Captain Vostrikov was the commander of the Soviet submarine K-19. He raced against time to prevent a Chernobyl-like nuclear disaster which threatened not only the lives of his crew, but had the potential to ignite a world war between the super powers.
Captain Polenin: Lieutenant Yashim is the best reactor officer in the navy. He's never been drunk on duty before. We need him Captain, I urge you to reconsider.

Captain Vostrikov: I want this boat out of dry dock. Sea trials begin in 2 weeks.

Captain Polenin: The boat isn't ready Captain. The problem is Moscow. They organize party V.I.P tours, but were stuck with incompetent yard crews and deffective parts.

Captain Vostrikov: Sea trials will begin as schedualed. We deliver, or we drown.
