Userphobia

Userphobia
Bigotry against drug users. The belief that someone who uses is less than. This is hatred sourced in discrimination that very often leads to violence and furthers the marginalization of or extremely hurt people. To be able to realize that someone is suffering and then greeting that person with hatred is beyond incredibly fucked up. Nurses treat drug users as prisoners. Finding housing when you have any history of drug use is so difficult. Userphobia is very much everywhere.
