They knew

Hym "THEY KNEW! They knew Hamas was planning and attack on 0ct 7th and did nothing to stop OR outright ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN! I CAN'T IMAGINE SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENING! Can YOU!? Who could imagine such a thing!? Allowing an attack so you can justify doing whatever you want!? Who would even DO such a thing!? Knowing about an impending attack... Doing nothing... Or even THE OPPOSITE of what you have to... And then using the attack as post-hoc justification for the thing you were ALREADY DOING!? Why would anyone do THAT!? I've never even HEARD of such a thing occuring! Crazy! CRAAAAZY! What a crazy thing for them to do! Wow! Geez, I see no parallels between THAT and anything that has ever happened... Yep... A totally and completely unique occurrence and is in no way perfectly analogous to anything I've seen before... Wow! You know what that means right? For THAT to happen? There had to be a ton of stupid... Crazy... Morally repugnant people doing THE WRONG THING... DELIBERATELY... For that to happen... That what it would take. Hopefully they're all held accountable and their lives are destroyed. That's all I can hope for, RIGHT GUYS?"

Mankind knew that they cannot change society,

so instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the beasts.

Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
