2. One who reminds you of a safe, benign version of Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb from Silence of the Lambs, The (1991) - particularly in his collection of moths

3. A loser who rarely sees the light of day working on Rube Goldberg contraptions.

He’s a loser in a really odd way - there is just something really weird about that guy, he really is a spider farmer.

A person who wears unattractive clothes and is sort of asocial. They may be seen wandering the co-op grocery and tasting everything in the store. Spider farmers buy very small amounts.

Appellation to describe black-wearing art-school-of doom girls. Phrase originated in the early 1990's by comic artist Bill Willingham, who used it to describe the female publishers/artists of a rival comic company (CHAOS Magazine).

Comic Geek: Dude, I'm so going to hit on that spiderfarmer.
Comic Geek2: Don't bother man, she's out of your league. She'll just feed you to her tarantulas.
