Very small app but has a lot of shitty teens who use aave all the time(alot of them are white trust me). They're also really sensitive and are dicks if you're not good enough for them. They will also gaslight you into thinking you're wrong for hating their friend even tho you had valid reasons to. Not to mention the moderation is lazy like imagine suspending someone for saying trap even though they don't at all mean the slur. So yeah, don't download it but I mean it's dead as hell anyway.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
