Sweeney Todd is a musical about The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

He is a barber who, in vengence over his supposedly dead wive, co-opens a business partnership with his friend where he kills his customers and she pops them into pies.
Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd.
His skin was pale and his eye was odd.
He shaved the faces of gentlemen
Who never thereafter were heard of again.
He trod a path that few have trod,

A murderous barber sent away to Australia for 15 years by a corrupt judge, Judge Turpin. He was formerly known as Benjamin Barker, but when he returned to London he changed his name so he would be unrecognizeable. He arrives back in London off of the Bountiful out of Plymouth with a young sailor named Anthony, after leaving the ship port he returns to his barber shop on Fleet Street. His barber shop is even given an address, 186 Fleet Street. When he gets there he sees a woman making a meat pie, that is Mrs Lovett. Together they take revenge on Londoners until Sweeney is able to exact revenge on the Judge himself. Sweeney slits his customer's throats and Mrs Lovett chops the meat up and turns the people into meat pies, making for a very profitable business. Mrs Lovett is madly in love with Sweeney and plans to become his wife. She hopes the pie business with him will allow them to escape and live "By the Sea"
The story carries themes of love, obsession, and revenge (big main theme)
It was a written play, and then created into a musical by Stephen Sondheim and more recently re created as a movie directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as title role and Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs Lovett
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is very well known in both the US and UK and Sweeney is more recently recognizeable as Johnny Depp's version as well as the way George Hearn portrayed Sweeney in the original broadway musical cast.
Sweeney Todd lived on 186 Fleet Street

Some dude that actually was successful in life making some epic games like jazz jackrabbit and unreal tournament and other shit, but then he decided to drag all developers to work on fortnite and ditched the entire unreal tournament community in the dumpster to follow his gold mine.
Epic games developer: Hey, when are you going to release our next UT4 patch?
Tim Sweeney: Shut up and finish that fortnite emote you little shit.

A: Yo I just abandoned two triple A games that my company was working on for this random animated kids crap.
B: Are you Tim Sweeney?

Striver

Share definition Flag
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.
