A seedbox is an old, unused computer specially set up to seed (upload) torrent files. They are generally able to upload at incredibly fast speeds without any affect on your regular internet connection.

when an individual or group who throws, shoots, or slingshots pellets of dirt filled with seeds, often into empty or abandoned lots; usually part of an urban renewal project or event
