Some grandmothers like to save up schnipples so that they can knit their grandchildren scarves.

schwipple 

An uncontrolled body spazm or convulsion while falling into a deep sleep.

A schwipple is something that happens when you are falling asleep and have an uncontrolled movement of your body.
There are 2 types of a schwipple :1) mini schwipple: when a specific body part twitches. 2) full body schwipple: when you have entire body convulsion.
