preaching to the choir

Preaching to the choir means you are trying to make believers out of people who already believe, or convince people who are already convinced.
"We could start a new tradition, Birthdays without Boyfriends. It could work."
"Preachin' to the choir here baby."

Preaching to the Choir

Spending time trying to convince people who are already behind you.
HR won't hire this guy. They want someone who can "hit the ground running". They must be waiting on a "purple unicorn". I apologize, I'm "preaching to the choir". (LOL. That was 3 metaphors in one explanation. I recommend using Urban Dictionary to look of the other two metaphors)

facebook preaching

When someone does something on facebook and thinks it makes a difference in the environment, the life of a child, etc and starts to get all preachy about it.
"Save the whales. Totally. you can do it without leaving your living room"

-Man, stop your facebook preaching.

preaching to the Buddha

trying to teach someone something they already know
"If you want to ride an elephant, you have to embrace the beast inside you"
"You're preaching to the Buddha, man, I've done this a million times"

Super Preaching

The precise definition is: The kind of preaching that is ordained supernaturally , anointed, planned, and executed by God through a faithful servant who serves as a pastor, preacher or evangelist and preaches the extreme message of the good news and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (The Cross) and extreme Hell preaching that condemns sin and emphasizes sin, Judgment ,Hell and teaches the whole counsel of God.
When Tony preaches to a congregation, his preaching is described as Super Preaching.

Peacherine

A peach and nectarine hybrid. Many people believe it to be a peach and tangerine hybrid when they first hear it, but they are wrong.
I had a peacherine this morning. I couldn't make up my mind about what the hell it was.
