The purpose of the site is to gain 'fans', by clicking on buttons every day. There are also games, which most seven-year old enjoy.
People spend 100 dollars to get rare clothing items to fill the empty space in their social lifes. They often get critized by people who spend 50% of their day on the forums, which makes them just as sad.

Commonly known as 'VP' Virtual Popstar is a pixel dress up doll site with forums. The site currently has 0 development and terrible leadership. Some of the clothing is cute but overall the community is toxic.

Osaka Popstar has only around for a few years. They've released an album of original songs and a live EP of "old skool" punk covers and such recorded live on Halloween night 2006 at the Starland Ballroom at Sayreville, New Jersey. Check them out. They're fun.
