Playtonic relationship

Playtonic Relationship: when two people are comfortable around each other enough to make jokes about being together with out ever getting together. More than a friendship; but never anything besides innocent remarks between two close people: very evident the two care for each other, although there is usually a lack of verbal varification you do as it is usually spent making fun of each other and making dirty jokes.
"It's a strictly playtonic relationship."

Differentiated from definition of playtron although similar. Term cointed by the management of the michigan renaissance festival for playtrons who go out of their way to actively invade or intrude on the entertainment of the actual renaissance festival cast. Derogatory term used on several attendess of said festival by staff.
Scenario:

Festival Entertainment Director stands at the front gates of the festival, scrutizing entering guests while chatting with another gate worker...

Gate Worker: Turns to director and points out a well-dressed young lady "Hey, isn't that girl on cast?"

Director: Scoffs and laughs under her breath. "no, that's just Duchess Pamela, she thinks she's on court but she's just a Paytron...

playtonic

The "how it is in reality" spelling which describes the bulk of supposedly-just-first-base relationships between two people --- i.e., they actually "fool around" and "have fun" a-plenty, even if they'll never admit it.
Two often-reliable ways to determine what type of relationship dat a guy and girl are having --- i.e., platonic or "playtonic" --- are (1) if da girl's boobs get noticeably bigger over time, since this would indicate dat da dude has been playing wif dem a lot, or (2) if she gets pregnant (duh!).

Playtonic

British video game studio founded by former Rare employees. They are mostly known for developing the game Yooka-Laylee; a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie
Remember that one time Playtonic Games randomly tweeted "Kazooie is always pregnant"? Because I sure do.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
