Palupa

Palupa (also spelled paloopa), is what every French Canadian called "Quakers Instant Oatmeal™" as a child. It was specific to that brand and you likely call it that on accident even to this day. It has no apparent origin, but we all called it that. Must be some kind of brainwashing -- or aliens.
"Man, maple and brown sugar palupa is the best!"
"You must be French Canadian, eh?"
