The nosticles are the first letter after each one of the 5 vowels.

Nosicles

When the weather is so cold the moisture in the nose cause frozen nose hairs.

I thought I knew what cold was until I walked outside to get to class in the morning and I could feel the hair in my nose icing up and form nosicles.
