The very near opposite of the word hardcore. Usually applied to things that are supposed to be hardcore, but just come off as lame wannabes. Or, something so anti-hardcore that it is just notcore.

That new band, "Screaming with Emo Breakdowns" is so lame, it's just notcore.
All his friends are metalheads, I can't believe he dresses so notcore.

People who sit around on the internet all day talking trash acting tough and hardcore. Computer nerds, Elitist gamer assholes, and just regular computer junkies who feel superior because they know more than somebody else ONLINE and feel like they have to terrorize them.

Ex1:

"i'm sick of all these netcore kids sitting around talking smack to all the newbies"

Just as "normcore" is the desire to fit in and/or not stand out fashionably, "nomcore" is a way of eating that does not distinguish one's self from mainstream food.

He used to be a foodie, but now he's all nomcore and only eats Hamburger Helper and delivery pizza.
