The very near opposite of the word hardcore. Usually applied to things that are supposed to be hardcore, but just come off as lame wannabes. Or, something so anti-hardcore that it is just notcore.
That new band, "Screaming with Emo Breakdowns" is so lame, it's just notcore.

Get the notcoremug. A person who is not quite hip, and is keen to following many trends regarding fashion, music, and other societal fads. They are not usually hip enough to be considered a hipster, and are often proud of their "individualism."
You should stop wearing that "I love emo boys" shirt with those ugg boots because you look like a complete trendster.
