or #NoMee is pronounced "Know me," and accompanied by a gesture of the middle and pointer fingers squeezing the nostrils. The effect is a nasal sound produced while saying the phrase. The fingers point towards the eyes - similar to the common gestures for "look at me" and "I'm watching you."

Nomee is about recognizing one's true potential, excelling in one's talent, and getting recognition for success.

Origins of Nomee:

DC area Go-go music group TOB, including rapper MrNomee aka KrisKross, debuted this catchphrase in the song "NoMEE" (2011). The band has deemed #NoMee as a movement.

Hailing from DC, Quinn Cook, Duke University Class '15, is responsible for much of the term's propagation and its increasing popularity on Twitter and among Duke University undergrads. As the Blue Devils' starting point guard, Cook (#2) is making a name for himself in college basketball. His fame has led to the spread of the #NoMeeMovement.

Variations on Nomee include pronoun and noun substitution: #NoHer, #NoDuke, #NoUs
"Workin' hard, headed to the top, everybody's gonna nomeeeeee!"

"dominant win today #NoDuke #NoMee"

This is the type of person you want to keep in your life, she is special and she will be with you forever no matter what happens.her amazing personality shall leave you amazed and make you fall in love.she’s everything you would ever want and is know for her prettiest eyes that make you feel warm and safe and her gleaming brown (or any other colour)hair. She is the best person you could even know and love;she compliments others but doesn’t compliment herself even though she is amazing, cute and perfect the way she is! You’ll find yourself in love with her first glance and the boys will fight for her love.she’s pretty shy but it doesn’t mean she won’t pick a fight or be outgoing around her friends, if you manage to get her love don’t break her Heart as you are the luckiest guy ever as all the boys topple over for her and should treat her like the queen she is! Her voice will leave you stumbled and shocked as it makes you shiver on how calm and cute it is.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
