new hampshire

New Hampshire is a beautiful and great state. It has beaches, cities, mountains, awesome falls, snow, and spring and the best summer vacations.

Think of the shire from LOTR. It's like that. XD

You can eat strawberries and cream, you can dance with dtrangers, you can play any instrument you want even if you don't know how to play it and get positive reactions...

It's probably one of the nicest, if not THE nicest places to live... :D

Down to earth yet friendly people. Great schools. woot.

It's got the white mountains, the basin, cities, the seashore, rocky beach, rockport, boston nearby, littleton, cheap wine... heh... everything.

New Hampshire isn't really a bad place, but it's not exactly the best place either... If you like hiking, fishing, etc. you'll find a lot to do if you go up north. If you go to Southern NH, or you're not an outdoorsy person, you'll be bored to death. Despite what everybody seems to think, the state is not full of hicks. There are some of course, but for the most part we're pretty open-minded. The public schools suck, and so do the overrated private schools.
New Hampshire isn't terrible if you like nature, cheap shopping, and you want to homeschool your kids.

New Hampshire is a socially maladjusted state that lacks diversity but has opportunity for the educated, priviliged and hard working. It takes a lot of work to make it here if you dont have this.If you dont work very hard, have a degree, sell yourself out, come from a successful family or get very lucky you probably will not go anywhere here.If you like to work hard, there is opportunity here. This isnt for wimps who like mooching the system but it does happen mostly in Nashua and Manchester.Thats why these cities have the most problems. Also some of the border towns like salem and hudson are not the best places to live and raise a family due to the constant transitional influx from mass that deteriotates the quality of living and causes crime but it does help the economy, a catch 22.People do tend to drink a lot here though and not always take the best care of themselves, probably due to stress and pressure of working and the cold winters.
Live free and work hard or get out.
The crime and unemployment are low in New Hampshire for a reason, its called WORK.

A great state to have a "summer place". New Hampshire is a haven for the wealthy to hide from tax obligations. In order to live in NH and have children who speak in a polysyllabic fashion you have to live in a moneyed town or send them to a private school. New Hamphire educational funding has nothing to do with equity of opportunity (research the Claremont debacle). If you are white, rich, and don't give a damn about the "lower class" (those who clear less than $100,000 a year)then welcome aboard! If you don't qualify for the "club" please don't put yourself or your children through the humiliation of trying to scratch out a living here.
"I truly enjoy New Hampshire, don't you Lovey? However, I believe that I saw someone whose skin is darker than a brown paper bag in our gated community. Have the help call in the state police and the National Guard."

One of the most interesting states in the nation, where just about everything is legal and everyone who isn't white gets pulled over and beaten the moment they cross the border. The weather sucks, but it looks nice in the summer time and not having sales tax is nice as well. Unfortunately, the smart people don't live in New Hampshire, but in the surrounding states near the borders and drive into New Hampshire to shop and return home to live in more affordable areas. It's got some pretty sick roads, which are unfortunately polluted by residents not knowing how to drive their Subarus, see also maine. Overall, one of those states that looks nice in a book or magazine, but you'd never want to visit.
