Mutthausen by Proxy

A behavior in which a dog owner fabricates and exaggerates health or behavior problems by their dog in order to show how much he/she cares for and worries about their pet.

The poor puppy was wearing both a "collar of shame" and a muzzle, definitely a case of Mutthausen by Proxy.
