The egyptian version of the name Jennifer.

While the name has Hebrew origin, it is a common name among coptic (egyptian) christians, as on of their canon saints have the name Mihraeel.

As more Coptic people moved to places like: the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe to escape persecution in Egypt, many of their children born in these areas would find themselves having two names. This often looks like having a birth name and a more “local friendly” name that is easier for the locals to pronounce.

Because of this some egyptian names have become synonymous with english names. Thus Jennifer being the english version of Mihraeel.

Other spellings include: Mohraeel, Mehrael, Mihereel, etc.
Come on Mihraeel, Church is about to start!

Wait, Jennifer, how do you pronounce your real name: Mihraeel?
