Messihiphobia (pronounced "Mess-E-he-foe-be-uh" is the fear, hatred, oppression, genocide,
discrimination, (and/or) aggression against Christians, Messianic Jews, and other groups that believe in Jesus Christ such as Messianic Zoroastrians and Manichaens.
The term was coined in July of 2014 by Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Christians as an alternative to
Christophobia and Christianophobia which includes followers of Jesus Christ from all religions.
It originates from the Tidewater Pidgin word Messihi, from Arabic "mesihiy" (مسيحي), meaning "Christian" and also obviously from the word phobia meaning "fear" from
ancient Greek.
