Changing the field of research to focus on process design. For example, you are studying supply chains and systems, but you want to take a deep dive into chemical process design.
When anything starts off on a really good note, be it a movie series, musical career or relationship and ends horribly. Obviously, Star Wars Episodes 1-3 come to mind as does AMG's sophmore effort "Ballin' Outta Control." Seriously, who greenlights such horseshit. C'mon, "hold me like you did on Naboo." I said that shit to my girlfriend way back in '88.
Slim: It wasn't the break up that really sucked or the months of mourning and self loathing that took their toll.
Dr. Smith: Go on Slim, this is safe place.
Slim: Well, I guess, Doc, it was when I found out that my ex was now eating more pussy than me that my life George Lucasized.
When the integrity of a film is sacrificed in order to appeal to a broad audience that encompasses as many demographics as possible. George Lucas sacrificed the integrity of Star Wars when he molded the prequels into a mass marketed mess in efforts to appeal to children and casual film audiences - In doing so his movies sucked big time, not only to fans of the original films, but to children and casual film audiences of all demographics. Film makers that want everyone to love their final product often find that their films suck when they sit down and actually watch it for themselves. When they finally realize their original vision was lucasized into a Transformers 2 style mess, it is too late to do anything about it. Lucasization can also occur when film makers fail to make proper edits thus including scenes that subtract from the final product in effort to explain as much as possible to the audience.
