The act of killing time while feeling completely worthless inside derived from the words lor (as in dismay) and loafing (to spend time aimlessly).

He was lorfing around again today, I don't think he's done anything productive in the last week since they broke up.

A term to really annoy pseudo-christians in cahtrooms and forums etc. "Lorf" instead of "Lord". Drives 'em pshyco! Lorf is also the name of the god of typos.
