It means you don't have to lie to impress a person or to be accepted. Basically its hiding something from someone or lying about something to fit in.
Me: I hate it when guys wear skinny jeans.

Marques: me too!

Me: Pshh you don't have to lie to kick it, i know you gotta pair.

When one exaggerates the truth or simply tells lies about themselves to be better impress, hang out, or date another person.
Person 1: Deceivingly tells someone else that they have a record deal inorder to impress Person 2.

Person 2: Knows that Person 1 is lying and tells them: You ain't got to lie to kick it with me

You don't have to lie about something to hang out with me
