Verb: to say a severely harsh comment to someone and offend them so badly they cannot look at you.

commonly used phrase: The smack down has been brought.
When Amar told Ned that he needed three sweaters to be sown together to make one of Ned's socks, he layed the smackdown so badly that Ned could not look at Amar for three weeks.

lay the smackdown 

The act of physically attacking another individual.
That guy has some anger management issues, yesterday I saw him lay the smackdown on his beeatch for talking back.

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
