Jimlish

(Noun) A cross between English and Chicagoese. It involves bastardizing commonly used words in a nonsensical matter. Frequently speakers of Jimlish will often try to defend their bastardization of the word to no avail. Examples include: southmore (instead of softmore), uge (instead of huge), ashphalt (instead of asphalt, and sammich (instead of sandwich).

verb. A Baltimore term used to describe the act of hoodwinking, duping, cheating, swindling, or otherwise deceiving an individual or group of persons.

When I was down near Senor Frog's I paid about 45 U.S. dollars for a bottle of rum. When my cousin got back she told me that she had only paid 22 U.S. dollars for the same bottle of rum. I went back to the vendor and discovered that he had quickly moved out of the location. At this point I knew that I had been jimmyshooked.
