IRWTK - I really want to know, is a catch phrase from the discussion forum on www.shsweb.com . It can be used as an actual request to explain something or as a light flame, an ironic "Please, do tell us more". The latter usage is definately more common.
The origin of the phrase is disputed, as a few different users have claimed to have started the trend. The alias "Huang", portaiting a foreign exchange who has many questions to ask, is often used with the phrase. Now the phrase is commonly used, often in the mannors described earlier or just as a nostalgic comment, referring to the fictive "Huang" and the time when registering your alias was not yet compulsory.
Used for occasions that were previously arranged but one has changed their mind about attendance, or when one is asked to go somewhere but doesn't want to go.
Acronym for “If You Read The Article” most commonly used when Facebook douchebags make remarks or complaints clearly covered by the article posted.
Why take the time to write the whole sentence when they haven’t bothered to read what you’ve posted? Use the acronym instead. Adding “douchebag” afterwards is optional.
You think they’re talking about All Men? They clearly aren’t IYRTA, douchebag
