iGen 

The millennial generation. They may identify with the following characteristics:

1. They are exploring their own identities in love and work

2. They are in an age of instability

3. They are in a self-focused period of life

4. They feel in between adolescence and adulthood, neither one nor the other

5. They are driven by endless possibilities and are actively exploring them—jobs, travel, love, sex, identity, and location. This generation collects experiences more than money. While some may head off to Africa to change the world, at least as many (and probably more) head off to experience the world.

We had the baby boomers born in the fifties and Generation Xers, born in the seventies; today's youth, born in the nineties, is the iGen.

6. Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (Ready Player One style ;))

7. Personal Robots (To do chores and such)

8. High-Speed Vacuum trains (Up to 5000 MPH!)

9. Natural Language Processing

10. Quantum Computing

iGen is the future.

iGeneration 

A subgeneration of Generation Y kids born from 1985 to 1990 with Baby Buster parents. The term is an ironic neogolism based off of the product known as iPod popularized by a song from the the artist known as MC Lars. Memebers of this generation are often associated with scene quailities and subcultures like emo, hipster, indie, club kids, electroclash etc.

Bisexuality is currently popular/chic amongst girls in this age group and is slowly progressing towards boys with the new 2005 trend known as emo boys kissing.

iGeneration was featured in a British Time Magazine article.
