The term is an ironic neogolism based off of the product known as iPod popularized by a song from the the artist known as MC Lars. Memebers of this generation are often associated with scene quailities and subcultures like emo, hipster, indie, club kids, electroclash etc.

A childhood, playground game were you run, at all costs, from Chris Hutchinson before he gets within grabbing distance from you. One must yell 'Igeegeebooboo' before running away to warn others of the impending doom. This sacred game started in the early 90s in Ashland, KY at Oakview Elementary and has been rumored to be outlawed in several states.
