Hooksmaxxing is when a social media creator becomes dangerously obsessed with writing the perfect opening line for a post.
Symptoms include deleting 47 drafts, turning normal thoughts into dramatic life lessons, and believing every sentence should sound like it was whispered by a billionaire in a dark room.
Example:
“He was just posting about going for a walk, but after hooksmaxxing it became: ‘I took 3,000 steps today and realised why most founders fail.’”
LinkedIn creators have a special knack for this.
