Helltober is most commonly known by educators and students as October. It is the end of the first grading period, the time when the midterm is delivered, when the first quarter’s grades are due, and when students and teachers’ patience with one another runs completely out.

I’ll be glad when we get through Helltober.

A term used in Dead by Daylight for getting off of a generator while the game simultaneously prompts a skill check causing it to explode accidentally. This was coined by the streamer Bronx, named after his girlfriends username October (to whom this thing happened often).
