These actions are more important during the early stages of a relationship, usually when one is trying to get with a girl. Once you're about 2 month's into a relationship, Guy Points aren't important.

guy points

points earned for performing cool simple guy tasks and generally behaving in a basic guy manner. there is no such thing as girl points, however a female can also earn guy points by doing something a guy would do. of course a male can lose guy points as well. guy points are awarded for such tasks as getting haircut by old guy at a real barbershop (not a super clips), watching UFC fights on spike, and drinking regular beer instead of fancy microbrews.

We saw a guy the other night in my neighborhood sitting in his garage on an old recliner, smoking a cigar and watching TV by himself. That guy has earned enough guy points to last a lifetime and only a yoga class or being caught wearing a blanket over his lap can remove them. A woman can earn guy points, only if she is attractive and does something like smoke a cigar or play poker.

Bunhead

A girl who does ballet and only talks about ballet. Her schedule is filled with dance classes which does not allow her to do any other activity.

"Hey, do you know that girl Sally?"

"Yeah, she's kind of annoying. All she ever talks about it ballet."

"Wow, what a Bunhead."

"Hey Sally, you want to hang out this weekend?"

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

Boffin

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
