Skate boarding (slang/cheer). Used as a sort of chant to (mentally/psychologically) (commit to/stick) a gap or difficult
trick.
(Also used to give praise to a successfully landed difficult gap or
trick; like when pool/vert skaters smack the edge of their boards against the side of the pool or vert ramp when someone completes a difficult
trick or run.)
- Roger yelled "guranga taunk!" to prevent his friend
Carlos from thinking about bailing in the middle of an eight-stair gap, and he was there fore able to land the gap.
-
Carlos landed a 360 flip up a bank, so Roger yelled "guranga taunk!" because it was very impressive for
Carlos to land such a difficult trick on an angled surface.
