godsplain

To explain or justify a belief, action, or policy by appealing to religious doctrine or divine authority — often in place of reasoned argument, evidence, or critical thinking. (e.g., “God made it happen.”)

Frequently used to critique claims or policies framed as universally valid simply because “God says so” or “God says no.”
She godsplained why same-sex marriage should be banned, quoting scripture instead of articulating a coherent line of reasoning.

I asked how the rainbow formed, and my uncle just godsplained that it was a sign from God, end of story.

gradsplain

gradsplain: when a grad student reads one or two books then feels the need to (mis)explain any and every academic concept to everyone they interact with, mostly to tell said people that they are somehow wrong about their own thoughts, opinions, and/or experiences.

Gradsplainers do not generally care even if those they interact with have superior training, experience, schooling, or degrees.
Cindy: See, the thing is, according to my thesis and this article I just found, you are totally wrong about (insert Marxism, feminism, socialism, capitalism, ableism, racism, string theory, quantum physics, Dr. Who, etc.)

John: First, I teach this class. Second, I wrote the article you cite. Stop gradsplaining to me.

Giosplaining

When you explain a meme, thus removing any and all elements of humor from said joke
Ethan: I dont get why these moth memes are considered funny
Gio: You see, the moth memes are funny because the moth likes light. So, therefore, any allusions to a light source arouse the moths. XD
Ethan: Wow, now it's even less funny. Thanks for giosplaining it to me.

When goyim, or non-Jewish people, try to explain Jewish concepts - or explain away antisemitism - to a Jewish person
Goy: "Roger Waters using the Star Of David on an inflatable pig isn't antisemitic. After all, he has Jewish friends!"
Jew: "Don't sit there goysplaining this to me as if it somehow affects you personally. I've been dealing with antisemitism all my life; I think I know what it is better than you ever will."

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
