gheeaboo

Somebody who fetishizes Indian culture. Similar to weaboo and teaboo. They say "namaste" for no reason, think that everything that Indians do is somehow mystical and magical, and try and link it back to Vedic philosophy and rituals. Indians they encounter are observed like museum exhibits. Oh and they'll probably imitate Carnatic verbal rhythm and talk about how complex it is or something.

Often have a very poor understanding of contemporary Indian politics and life in general, and have probably never visited.

gheeaboo: dude, I went for a yoga class last week, it was so amazing and magical! you guys had it all figured out way back! I'm going to learn that taa thika thika stuff next, it's so complex and cool!
